500,000 people lined the streets of Dublin for the parade - what a wonderful figure!!

I wish I had been there too - there were so many parades all around the world, including Brisbane, Australia!

The wonderful thing about being Irish is that you can find home anywhere in the world.

To all my recent influx of followers…

Not many of you know much about me - I’m currently in Australia for the last 2 years on a working holiday visa - now extended to 5 years.

I have lived in Ireland with my family all of my life and made the leap to Australia 20 months ago or so.

I created this blog on the advice and joint effort from one of my best friends - numerous reasons really; there wasn’t an Irish one, and it made me feel at home.

I went back to Ireland, and saw my family for the first time in 18 months, and am now back in Australia, missing Ireland and my family desperately.

Now come the influx of photos from when I was back home…

No worries our wonderful Rugby boys, there is always next time… Wales seemed to take their chances when they were given to them, we didn’t play as well as we all know we could have!

I’m still a proud Irish supporter, and I will be wearing my shirt for the remaining world cup!
